2025 Season So Far...

The Louth Mavericks have powered their way through the 2025 regular season, finishing with a flawless 8–0 record and officially clinching first place in AFI Division 1.

It all began with a dominant 44–6 win over the Wexford Eagles at home, followed by an explosive 68–22 victory on the road against the West Dublin Rhinos. From there, the Mavericks stayed sharp and disciplined, battling through a physical clash with the Westmeath Minotaurs (48–7), a rainy day rout of the Causeway Giants (50–0), and a 43–0 shutout over the Cill Dara Crusaders in their final home game of the season.

Adding to the streak was a win by forfeit in the scheduled second matchup against the Wexford Eagles.

The regular season finale saw the Mavericks travel north to face the County Antrim Stags — and they closed the campaign in style with a dominant 60–0 win, their sixth defensive shutout of the season.

The momentum continued into the postseason as the Mavericks hosted the Cill Dara Crusaders in the Harp Bowl Semi-Final — delivering a statement performance with a 64–0 win to punch their ticket to the Championship.

The Mavericks now advance to the Harp Bowl Final, set for Saturday, July 19th at 12:15 PM in Dubarry Park, Athlone. One game remains.
