2025 Season So Far...

The Louth Mavericks have completed a season for the history books — finishing the 2025 campaign as AFI Division 1 Champions and Harp Bowl winners, capping off a perfect 10–0 season.

It all began with a dominant 44–6 win over the Wexford Eagles at home, followed by an explosive 68–22 victory against the West Dublin Rhinos on the road. From there, the Mavericks never looked back — powering past the Northwest Vipers, grinding out a physical 48–7 win over the Westmeath Minotaurs, and rolling through the Causeway Giants 50–0 on a rainy day.

The team kept their momentum alive with a 43–0 shutout of the Cill Dara Crusaders in their final home game, and a 60–0 win over the County Antrim Stags to close out the regular season — marking their sixth defensive shutout and earning the #1 playoff seed.

In the postseason, the Mavericks continued their dominance with a 64–0 victory over the Crusaders in the Harp Bowl Semi-Final to book their spot in the Championship Game.

Then came the moment they’d worked all season for — the Harp Bowl Final in Dubarry Park, Athlone. Facing a tough Westmeath Minotaurs side, the Mavericks stood tall, pulling away in the second half to claim a 44–0 victory and the Division 1 Championship title.

A perfect season. A dominant defense. A relentless offense.
The Mavericks are your 2025 Harp Bowl Champions

Now, eyes turn to 2026 — as the Mavericks prepare to take on the AFI Premier Division.
